Oahu, Hawaii has been a great place to call home for the last few years and this small rock in the middle of the pacific ocean really does have a lot to offer for everyone. Whether you are looking to soak up the sun at the beach or get your boogie on at one of the many clubs in Honolulu you’re sure to find something to keep you busy.
I have listed some of my top 5 things to do in Hawaii to help guide you on your next trip to Oahu, Hawaii.
1.) Visit The North Shore
Being a surfer myself I have a bit of a natural attraction to the north shore as it provides some of the best quality waves in the world during the winter months. Surfers around the world know of this place as the 7-mile miracle as its coastline is peppered with a plethora of surf spots, from the majestic and world-renowned Pipeline to the huge waves of Waimea Bay.
What a lot of people do not know though is during the summer time the Northshore tends to be very small or flat at many times which enables you the opportunity to explore the many beautiful reefs and caves that lie just beneath the surface. Many visit the popular snorkeling spot “Sharks Cove” which is found in front of Foodland.
There is all type of paid activities as well that can be fun during the summer such as shark cage diving, stand up paddle boarding, surf lessons, and much more.
2.) Crouching Lion Hike
The crouching Lion Hike is one of my favorite trails to climb in all of Oahu. It is just difficult enough to get your heart going but not so much that it will take you all day to complete. Enjoy the beautiful mountain ridges and ocean view but be careful not to go to high up as many people have sadly fallen to their death as it can get very windy and the trails can get very thin and steep.
Check out this video I made when we took our new company drone out to get a few shots.
3.) Hawaii Party Bus
Just recently I went to a birthday party in Honolulu where my friend hired a Hawaii Party Bus which was filled with flat screen TVs, music, a dance floor, and of course our own personal driver to take us where ever we want. This was a great way to see the city and to keep the party going while we went from one bar to the next and not having to worry about getting an Uber.
Well, those are my top things to do in Hawaii so get out there people and have a blast!
